My name is Daffy and I was Susies Duck!  This is our story...

I was rescued by Susie over seven years ago.  She took me in and became my Duck mom!  We live in Hawaii and went on grand adventures together.  Our favorite place to explore was the beach.  We volunteered together with AccesSurf - where they taught me how to surf.  I even competed against my furry friends in the
​Going to the Dogs - SurFur competition.    

Because of the friends we made, a lot of people turned to us for duck help. Susie and I started rescuing and rehabbing lots of my duck cousins, and finding them forever homes. 
​That is how the Sanctuary was started.  We became a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2022.
​Daffy's legacy lives on thru the HUNDREDS of duck, geese and swan lives we have saved!
