Not our fault, but we were the first reported cases.

I do not want to go into details right now, but the state came and euthanized all of the remaining ducks on the property. To say I am devastated is an understatement. I am doing everything I can to heal - one day at a time.

I have given a lot of thought to the future of the Sanctuary. It will continue to be a work in progress, as I move forward. I have decided to focus and outreach to the community and education of ducks and the love and care of animals. I will help those who need our help as much as I can. But I need the help of everyone to get thru this. I would like to build a team of volunteers, to help rescue, rehab, foster, and go out into the community. If you love ducks and want to be a part of this mission - I need you! Please reach out and let me know.

It has only been thru the kindness and support of everyone near and far, that I have gotten thru this. I can't thank you all enough. Please consider helping me do more good for The Love of Ducks!

Susan

New adventures update...

https://www.susiesduck.com/our-adventures/new-adventures-update

https://www.susiesduck.com/our-adventures/new-adventures-update#comments

Uncategorized

So many new and amazing things have come into our lives! Foraging for bugs, duck diving in the pool, how to eat all of your veggies and when to give cuddles for more snacks! It is wonderful to see them grow up and fly away - but we do miss them. Susie is always happy when they come back to visit.

I have also been busy spreading my wings and my story! We are so lucky to have made such special friends who share my surfing adventures with the world. I got to be in a USA Today article, on The Pet Hui here on Spectrum OC16, DaBest Hawaii - who shared our story even further where we are now on Hawaiian Airlines in-flight entertainment! And yesterday, Susie got to speak to her favorite podcasters Tom and Dan in Orlando! Our story will air today on Real Radio 104.1 on A Corporate Time with Tom and Dan! You even get to hear me say hi! We will get all of the links to our neat stories, so you can read, watch and listen too!

Mahalo for all of the love and support you have shared with us and all of the animals in the world!
